I don’t consider the practice on males to be barbaric as the skin is vestigial and can harbor pathogens. It’s only the lack of agency by doing it in infancy that I object to.
Female “circumcision” IS barbaric and misogynistic as fuck and must be stamped out. Fuck your culture, whoever practices it.
