Hahaha I’m so glad 😘 Your oil is on my self-gift list this year. I’ll put it in my stocking.

F**k, if I even mentioned anything that you’ve shown here today, my bride-to-be would first be shocked, second accuse me of looking at porn and third, probably divorce me even before we are married!!

Hahaha oh, William, you should surprise her with something from the list!! She might surprise you!

I do know that she wants me to buy a toy for her. Just gotta get her to a store that sells them and let her choose the one she wants. The choosing bit is advice from another Substack writer.

Don't know many of these brands, but I agree that I love Araks - so lovely and also such a great emphasis on sustainability! I used to love Mary Young for these same reasons - looks like that company is restructuring somehow - some pretty things still there on their sale page.https://manymoons.com/collections/mary-young?filter.v.availability=1

The End (top of the list) is also SUPER sustainable. And from Minnesota. Love them! I just perused Many Moons, and think I need these Toni Shorts... Thanks for the link!! ❤️

Ah! Thank you - will check The End out now! And will tell all my fellow midwesterners to support them!

Well this is an incredible departure from the standard gift guides. Help a girl out with garters: love the look, hate the little doodads that are supposed to secure to stockings. On me they never do and I cannot figure out if it’s because I have been using crappy lingerie, I have too tall of a torso and they will always fly off, my hand/nylon coordination sucks, or all of the above. But it’s so much work, so inconvenient to wear, and either I’m doing it wrong or I’ll just stay super grateful to live in 21st century underwear times

So much fun and what a lovely, detailed and well thought out piece of writing, inclusive of experiential details! Brava Abby (and Joe)!

Flash U and Me outfit with gloves is a scandalous selection, offering a mid-century Americana seduction. Maskaras, Elin Harness and The Stock Room are the ideal for an intractable Traditionalist of my caliber. A Roman Catholic beloved ensured I could bring her to heel. Celestial.

They’re not as flammable as they look, you only get minar burns

I’m more partial to maligner burns - less physical, but more emotional pain.
